“Finally, A Modicum of Legitimacy”, an exhibit in 4 pictures

Before we released Dredmor, we couldn’t afford desks, chairs, unbroken microphones, computers less than ten years old, wireless signal that went more than seven feet, or even mice that weren’t trackballs:

Thanks to you guys, we have “Real Development Machines” ™ !

Boxes!

Here we see Nicholas and David striking dynamic action programming poses.

Work montage on tiny Ikea chairs

Nicholas stares in dumbfounded horror at the aftermath of attempting to install Linux on a raid array.  I’m “getting things done” on the portable Ikea desk (as I still do most of my work in Victoria).  A pastry bag in the background.

Buying a gift for Mr. Rathman, contributor of some of our wonderful animations

We can’t say exactly what we bought him here, because that would spoil the surprise for him.  We *did* buy a mug that says “LUTEFISK POWER” for the office though, which is pretty amazing.

The keg fridge? It’s in Derek’s web dev bunker somewhere in Seattle. Our fridge is much smaller, crammed in underneath the coffee pot, and full of strange juice concoctions. We are, however, at work designing a “Dispute settlement dispenser”, which is equal parts weapons rack and scotch cabinet. I’m not joking.
